I'm an industrial designer.

The thing I hold onto in this practice is simple: that the things I shape go on to serve people.
Someone moving through an ordinary day a little better than before; someone who looks at it and finds the world a little larger. More often than not, I'm shaping the ground that something more important will stand on. That sense of purpose is what keeps me oriented.

I keep returning to three things: the reasoning that gives a product direction, the purpose that makes it worth building, and the craft that decides whether either of them is felt.
